The Synchrony Bank PC Richards Credit Card can be used to receive 0% APR financing for 6 months or more on many of the electronic goods, appliances and mattresses that P.C. Richard & Son has to offer. It’s a store credit card that can only be used at this retailer, so if you shop there frequently and you’d benefit from flexible financing, the P.C. Richard & Son Credit Card is worth a look.

Synchrony Bank offers more than 100 co-branded credit cards, some of which include awesome rewards for customers. You can find credit cards for various retailers, brands, hotels and even gas stations and many of these can be used anywhere (providing they carry the Mastercard or Visa logo). In the section below, take a look at some Synchrony credit cards that may interest you.

Synchrony Bank store credit cards

Techron Advantage Visa Card

With this credit card, you can earn 3c per gallon in fuel credits every time you fill up at Chevron and Texaco gas stations. Additionally, you can receive 10c per gallon in fuel credits when you spend $300 anywhere else each month. If you happen to spend more than $1000 outside of fuel merchants each month, you’ll earn 20c per gallon in fuel credits.

The Techron Advantage Visa Card offers no annual fee, 24/7 cash access, online account management and no liability for unauthorized charges on your account.

PayPal Cashback Mastercard

Another example of a Synchrony-backed rewards credit card is the PayPal Cashback Mastercard, which you can use anywhere that Mastercard is accepted. While doing so, you’ll earn 2% cash back every time on any purchase. The cash back rewards are redeemable to your PayPal balance, and there’s no redemption threshold.

This credit card could be useful if you buy stuff online frequently and use PayPal for your transactions, e.g., for eBay. There’s no annual fee, but there’s no special financing available either. The variable purchase APR is between 21.74% and 28.74%, which is a bit steep. To get the best value out of this card, be sure to pay your balance off in full each month.

Synchrony HOME Credit Card

This credit card can be used at more than 20,000 participating home retailers in the U.S, where you can find sofas, mattresses, dining room furniture, electronic goods, and appliances.

Special financing offers are available with this card, meaning you can purchase interest-free from 6 to 60 months (the exact terms depend on the retailer). There’s no annual fee, but the purchase APR for new cardholders is 29.99%, which is eye-wateringly high.

One advantage of the Synchrony HOME Credit Card, compared to retailer-specific store cards is that you’re not limited to just one retailer; you can purchase home furnishings from a diverse range of stores. When you do make a purchase, you could take advantage of special financing.

With that said, a regular credit card offering 0% APR for a limited time could be more cost-effective in the long run, if it has a lower interest rate when the promotional period expires.

Synchrony Bank Amazon

One of the biggest retailers on Synchrony’s list of extensive partners is Amazon. If you’re an Amazon Prime customer, you can earn 5% cash back on every single purchase you make on Amazon with the Amazon.com Store Card. The cashback is offered as a statement credit.

If you’re spending $149 or more, you can benefit from 6 months 0% APR financing. For purchases over $599, 12 months interest-free financing is available. 24-month special financing is available on certain Amazon-sold items. Note that once the interest-free financing period is over, you will have to pay interest on the original balance, if you haven’t already paid off your purchase.

If you’re not an Amazon Prime member, you can still apply for the Amazon.com Store Card (which has no annual fee) and take advantage of special financing, but unfortunately, you won’t receive rewards.

Why choose a Synchrony Bank credit card?

Many Synchrony-issued store credit cards offer special financing, which can be helpful if you need to spread the cost of a purchase. If you’re financially savvy, you could make a Synchrony credit card work in your favor, and earn rewards and cash back over time. You’ll likely need to build your credit score above 660 to be accepted.

Before you apply for a Synchrony credit card, be sure to check out the small print concerning the APR that you’ll be charged, as this differs by retailer and could be very high once any promotional financing ends.

WAIT! High overdraft fees aren’t the only way your bank is costing you money.

With inflation overheating, you’ve probably heard that interest rates are climbing sharply. That means that for the first time in years, it’s a great time to shop around for a high interest savings account.

The national average interest rate for savings accounts is currently 0.23% APY – that means that if you have $2,500 in a savings account, you’d earn just $5.76 after one year! Move those hard-earned savings to an FDIC-insured bank paying 3.50% APY and you’d earn $81.73 more!

Don’t let your hard-earned savings sit there doing nothing. Check out the rates that you can earn at other banks:
