SezzleCash lets you borrow cash in the Sezzle app and get it in your bank account or on your debit card.

Need a little cash before payday? Sezzle now has a product for that. It is called SezzleCash. You can usually borrow about $50 to $300. Many people get around $165. The money goes to your bank or debit card. You pay it back in a few payments every two weeks.

Here is the catch that matters most. SezzleCash only works if you pay for Sezzle Anywhere at $19.99 a month. You also pay a service fee each time you borrow (up to $11.25). That can make sense if you already use Sezzle to shop and split purchases. It gets very expensive if you only want cash and do not use Sezzle’s buy now, pay later tools.

What is Sezzle?

Sezzle is a money app best known for buy now, pay later. That means you buy something today and split the cost into smaller payments over time. You can use Sezzle online and in stores.

Sezzle Anywhere is Sezzle’s $19.99 monthly plan. It gives you a Visa card inside the app so you can pay later almost anywhere Visa works. It can also cut some shopping fees and unlock extra deals. That card is for spending. It is not where SezzleCash puts your cash.

How SezzleCash fits with Sezzle shopping

Sezzle now has three main pieces:

  • Buy now, pay later: Split a store purchase into payments.
  • Sezzle Anywhere ($19.99/month): The paid plan that unlocks the Visa card and more shopping perks.
  • SezzleCash: A cash advance for people on Anywhere. You get real cash. You do not have to buy something first.

So SezzleCash is not Sezzle’s main product. Shopping is. SezzleCash is a newer add-on from 2026. If you already pay for Anywhere and shop with Sezzle, borrowing cash in the same app can be handy. If you do not shop with Sezzle, you are mostly paying $19.99 a month just to unlock a cash advance. That is a steep price for cash alone.

Our take

Useful if you already pay for Sezzle Anywhere and shop with Sezzle. Very expensive if you only want a cash advance and will not use the buy now, pay later products.

SezzleCash at a glance

  • How much: Usually $50 to $300
  • Typical amount: About $165
  • Monthly plan needed: Sezzle Anywhere, $19.99
  • Fee each time you borrow: Up to $11.25 (based on how much you take)
  • Where the money goes: Your bank account or your debit card (not the Sezzle shopping card)
  • Speed: Debit card is often same day or near instant. Bank transfer can take up to about 3 business days.
  • Payback: Usually every two weeks in 4 or 5 payments. First payment is often due in about 14 days.
  • One at a time: You must pay off your current SezzleCash before you can take another
  • Credit score check: Sezzle says applying for SezzleCash does not use a hard credit check
  • App ratings: App Store 4.9 | Google Play 4.6

What does SezzleCash cost?

Two costs matter. Do not mix them up.

1. Sezzle Anywhere: $19.99 every month. This is the shopping plan. You need it to use SezzleCash. If you already use Anywhere to shop, this fee is paying for shopping plus cash access. If you only want cash, this fee is almost all overhead.

2. SezzleCash service fee: up to $11.25 each time you borrow. This fee is only for SezzleCash. It is not a shopping fee. Sezzle shows the fee before you accept. One public example is $3.25 on a $100 advance. Sezzle does not publish the full fee chart online.

Sezzle ads sometimes say there are no express fees. That means they do not charge a separate “speed fee” like many cash advance apps. You still pay the SezzleCash service fee. You still pay $19.99 a month for Anywhere.

Quick math: If you borrow $100 and pay a $3.25 service fee, then count part of the $19.99 plan toward that borrow, you can land around $16 to $17 for that $100. Higher service fees (up to $11.25) cost more.

How do you get the money?

Open the Sezzle app. If SezzleCash is available to you, ask for an amount. Sezzle reviews your request. If it is approved, you see the fee and payback dates before you say yes.

Then Sezzle sends the cash to your bank account or your debit card. It does not load the cash onto the Sezzle Visa shopping card. Debit card delivery is usually faster. A normal bank deposit can take a few business days.

You pay the money back on the dates shown in the app, often every two weeks. You can pay early for free. Link a bank account for payback when you can. Paying with a card instead may add a small fee.

Who can get it? You usually need an active Sezzle account, a Social Security number on file, a history of paying Sezzle on time, a linked bank or debit card, no open SezzleCash balance, and an active Anywhere plan. Sezzle does not offer SezzleCash in every state. You may also need a higher Sezzle rewards tier before Anywhere is even offered. Approval is never promised.

Who should use SezzleCash?

Good fit

You already use Sezzle to shop. You already pay for Anywhere. You need about $50 to $300 and like paying it back in a few payments every two weeks.

Skip it (or compare first)

You only want a cash advance and will not use Sezzle’s shopping tools. Paying $19.99 a month plus a service fee just for cash is very expensive next to many cash advance apps. Also skip if you cannot get Anywhere, or if you want a simple payday payback with no installment plan.

How much does SezzleCash cost?

You need Sezzle Anywhere at $19.99 a month. You also pay a SezzleCash service fee of up to $11.25 each time you borrow. Ads that say “no express fees” still leave those costs in place.

Will this hurt my credit score?

Bottom line

SezzleCash can help if you already live in the Sezzle app and already pay for Anywhere. You get cash in your bank or on your debit card, then pay it back over a few weeks.
